Rescue

Food, Shelter, Clothing, Health, and Safety

Rescue is the first step in resolving homelessness at the Tri-City Union Gospel Mission. Those who find themselves in need of a safe and welcoming place to land can find it here. As the basic needs of food, shelter, clothing and hygiene services are met, residents can be released from the fear and stress that come from being homeless. There are a variety of reasons for homelessness—addiction, joblessness, mental or physical health issues, abusive relationships—and Tri-City Union Gospel Mission is here to help.

The Mission offers all its services free of charge to anyone in need.

At the Mission, we realize that not everyone has the same needs, so we have two separate facilities, one for the men and another for the women and children. The men’s facility can provide shelter for 162 men. The women’s facility can house up to 32 women and children.

Men's Shelter

24 hour emergency shelter for men. We allow for a 90 day emergency stay. Men may stay longer than 90 days but must enroll in either our Case Management program or our Drug and Alcohol Recovery program.

All services are provided free-of-charge by the caring people of Tri-Cities. Open 365 days a year. For the safety of others, our shelters maintain a no-alcohol/no-drug policy.
